Bellwether Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Ted Reed as Vice President of Marketing. Reed brings more than 20 years of experience leading data-driven marketing, brand strategy, and customer engagement initiatives across nonprofit, higher education, and global consumer brands.
Reed brings a proven record of transforming marketing organizations and driving growth through insight-led strategies across brand, digital marketing, and communications.
In his role as Vice President of Marketing, Reed will be responsible for leading Bellwether’s marketing and communications strategy, including brand positioning, member acquisition and engagement, digital marketing, content, public relations, and data-driven campaign execution.

Prior to joining Bellwether, Reed served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he modernized the institution’s marketing function, launched in-house digital capabilities, and led a major rebrand and website overhaul. He has also held senior marketing leadership roles at Southern New Hampshire University and Bose Corporation, leading global brand, customer experience, and direct-to-consumer initiatives.
