This holiday season, Bellwether is partnering with the Palace Theatres to support Toys for Tots.

From November 1 through December 31, Bellwether will donate $50 for every new membership opened to help bring holiday joy to local children.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots® program collects and distributes toys to children in need each holiday season. Every $50 donation helps put a gift under the tree for a local child.

Everything you need to know about Bellwether's Light the Season membership and Toys for Tots promotion.

Who qualifies for Bellwether's $50 Toys for Tots donation?

New Bellwether members qualify for the $50 donation. You can become a member with as little as $5 in a savings account.

New members who close a qualifying Bellwether loan also qualify because a Bellwether membership is opened as part of the loan-closing process. Existing members can also refer a friend or family member, and Bellwether will make the $50 donation when that person becomes a member.

Do I need direct deposit to qualify for the $50 donation?

No. Direct deposit is not required. The donation is tied to opening a qualifying Bellwether membership during the promotion period.

How does Bellwether's $50 Toys for Tots donation work?

Bellwether donates $50 directly to Toys for Tots after a qualifying membership is opened. There are no additional donation steps required from the new member.

If an existing Bellwether member refers a friend or family member, the $50 donation is triggered when the referred person becomes a member.

When does the Light the Season promotion run?

The Light the Season promotion runs from November 1 through December 31, 2026. Qualifying memberships must be opened, or qualifying referrals completed, during that promotional period.

Promotion terms are subject to change at Bellwether's discretion.

How much money do I need to open a Bellwether membership?

You can become a Bellwether member with as little as $5 in a savings account. A qualifying new membership opened during the promotion can trigger Bellwether's $50 donation to Toys for Tots.

Can existing Bellwether members participate in Light the Season?

Yes. Existing Bellwether members can participate by referring a friend or family member. When the referred person becomes a Bellwether member during the promotion, Bellwether will donate $50 to Toys for Tots.
