Overview

Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) is seeking an outgoing and energetic professional for the position of Personal Banker in the Contact Center. The Job

The Contact Center Personal Banker will primarily help with member service and sales requests from incoming calls, online banking, as well as online loan applications. They will work with existing members and prospective new members that contact us via phone or online inquiry, uncovering financial needs, and offering member-centric solutions. This individual will market our products and services, cross-sell and process consumer loans (including vehicle loans, personal, credit card, and home equity lines). The Contact Center Personal Banker will also refer business to BCCU’s Business Services and Residential Lending Teams.

Essential Dutie

  1. Responsible to ensure error free and accurate completion of all member requests including: routine bank transactions, account openings, loan applications, servicing requests, and loan closings.
  2. Identifies service into sales opportunities and provides recommendations of credit union products and services when interacting with members.
  3. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a minimum of one year sales and/or call center experience in a financial institution
  • Be comfortable with technology
  • Have a demonstrated track record of cross-selling success in a member/customer service environment.
  • Requires intermediate computer skills (including MS Office Suite)
  • Excel in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
