A New Hampshire technology leader joins Bellwether to strengthen the systems that keep member banking simple, reliable, and secure.
Bellwether Community Credit Union has named Erik Sobel as its new Vice President of Information Technology. Sobel brings extensive experience leading and securing information systems across the public safety, healthcare, and financial services sectors. He joins Bellwether from Granite Edvance, where he served as Vice President of Technology Solutions and Security.
His deep expertise in enterprise technology and risk management makes him a key addition to the leadership team as the organization continues its growth and innovation. Sobel holds CISSP and CRISC certifications and has served on the advisory board of the UNH Center for Cybersecurity Leadership, Education, and Outreach, and on the board of trustees for the Capitol Center for the Arts.
As Vice President of Information Technology, Sobel will lead the direction and management of the credit union’s technology programs, including infrastructure, enterprise applications, risk management, and technology project delivery.
