Help Combat the Opioid Crisis

Bellwether is proud to be a sponsor of WZID’s Art Jam Bridge Fest being held on Saturday, September 23rd! The event is being held from 10am to 3pm on the Bridge Street Bridge in Manchester and is sure to be a fun day featuring art displays, music, dance teams, and more as people from the community come together to raise money for the fight against the heroin/opioid crisis. Tickets for the event are $10 each, and can be purchased here www.ArtJamBridgeFest.com.

Bellwether will be sharing a booth with Child and Family Services of NH (CFSNH) at the event and will be accepting donations to help them provide support to families affected by the opioid crisis. Bring your spare change (even foreign coins) to the event and donate them at our booth. The foreign coins will be added to our magnetic butterfly display, and all funds raised will be donated to CFSNH. Bellwether will also have a photo booth display for families to take pictures together. For more information on Bellwether’s participation in this event, please visit www.BCCU.org/ChangingLives.

The Art Jam Bridge Fest is a great chance for parents to bring their kids out for a fun day surrounded by the arts while also serving as a way to explain the dangers of the opioid crisis. The event is a fantastic learning opportunity for kids who most likely don’t understand the severity of this epidemic, and could also help spark an interest in the arts.

The Art Jam Bridge Fest will feature over 50 artists showcasing their creativity, 15 live bands, and five dance teams. Eric Escobar will appear as the featured artist, along with a 6ft x 40ft graffiti art mural. The schedule for the day includes an interactive community wall, dozens of vendors and food trucks, a kid’s area, and Angels of Addictions Healing Through Art with Ann Marie Zanfagna. New Hampshire students will also be coming together to set the Guinness World Record for largest number of paper-crafted butterflies, which will be displayed on the Butterflies of Hope Wall at the corner of Bridge Street and Elm Street.
