Text Banking
Use simple commands to access your balances, view recent transactions, transfer funds, and find our nearest location.
If you're already a Bellwether Community Credit Union Online Banking user, you can sign up for Mobile Banking by signing into your Online Banking account and clicking on the Mobile tab. Then simply follow the step by step instructions. If you are a Bellwether member but haven't yet signed up for Online Banking, you can do so from our our homepage! Just click on "enroll now" in the top right hand corner of the home page. Go there now!
A text messaging and/or data plan is typically needed to take advantage of our Mobile Text Banking feature. Check with your wireless carrier for more information.
Once you've enrolled in Text Banking, use the following prompts to access your information.
BCCU Text Banking - 226563
For information and funds transfer between your enabled accounts, text the following commands to BANKME 226563
BAL |
- Summary of available balances for all accounts |
HIST |
<account nickname> - Summary of recent transactions per account |
XFER |
<account nickname1> <account nickname2> <amount> - Transfer funds from one account to another. Enter full amount using dollar, decimal and cents. |
HELP |

- De-activate all Bellwether CCU text services (To reactivate, login to Online Banking) |
LIST |
- Receive a list of available commands |
Cost
There are no premium charges using BCCU Text Banking Alerts. Message and data rates may apply.
How To Opt-Out
To opt-out of BCCU Text Banking Alerts, reply STOP to 226563. An unsubscribe message will be sent to your number confirming the cancellation, but no more messages will be sent after that one.
