Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) is seeking a seasoned, outgoing, and energetic banking professional for the position of Branch Manager. This position will be responsible for supervising, organizing, planning, and controlling all functions of a branch and its team.
Applicants should have an Associates Degree or equivalent certification and at least five years of experience in financial services, experience in supervising multiple employees, and have the proven ability to produce sales results. Banking and/or credit union experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a sales leader/motivator and self-starter with in-depth knowledge of all state and federal regulations affecting branch banking. Experience in business development as well as consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending is desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a must, as well as the ability to work comfortably with technology. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to work in high pressure situations with moving deadlines. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, and comfort in a sales focused environment is key.
