Marketing Communications Specialist

Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU) is seeking a creative, outgoing, and energetic marketing professional for the position of Marketing Communications Specialist. This position will handle a combination of internal communications (digital and electronic), marketing database analysis and reporting, as well as support of both the Digital Marketing Coordinator and Department Manager. Applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification, and at least two-years' experience in Marketing or a similar field. Banking and/or credit union experience is preferred. This exempt position requires familiarity with marketing design, advertising and promotion, and data analysis (Sales and ROI), as well as demonstrable knowledge of graphic design. Familiarity with social media and related technologies is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including speaking to groups of people are required. Formal copywriting and graphic design experience is a plus. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to work in high pressure situations with moving deadlines. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, sales focused, fast-paced environment is key.
