The line will be available to draw from for up to 10 years, the interest only payment option keeps payments lower in that 10 year period. Plus, you’ll pay interest only on the amount you've used. If you don't use the line, you don't have any payments to make. And, as you pay down the line, your payments will adjust and the funds are available to use again. It’s a pretty convenient way to gain access to the money you’ve already paid into your home, letting your home work for you.
